Howard Adams, age 88, Greenfield, Indiana resident, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
He was born February 12, 1924 to the late Glenn and Edith Adams. He was raised by foster parents Doc and Lettie Renforth.
He worked at Delco Remy in Anderson, Indiana, retiring after 32 years, but he still had to be active, so he worked as a security guard until health problems made him stop. He enjoyed doing word search puzzles. He was also a Veteran of the United States Army.
Left to cherish his loving memory, his sons, Virgil Adams of Spencer, Indiana, Harold Adams (wife Teresa) of Fortville, Indiana, and Terry Adams (wife Rose) of Greenfield, Indiana; his daughter, Lucinda Adams of Summitville, Indiana; and also 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Bethel Holiness Church (242 West Morgan Street Knightstown, Indiana 46148). Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Bethel Holiness Church in Knightstown with Reverend George Maloyed Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville, Indiana.
Military Honors will be conducted by Fortville, Indiana American Legion Post #391.
