Rita Rosebell JoLeen (Lowe) Wilkinson, age 48, beloved wife, mother, and sister, New Castle resident, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Ball Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
She was born September 3, 1963 in New Castle, Indiana a daughter of the late Ernie and Hazel (Ballenger) Lowe.
Rita was a 1982 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. She loved spending time with her family and her dogs, Ebony and Sweet Pea, and crocheting and playing games online.
Left to cherish her loving memory include, her husband, Ronald Isaac Wilkinson, whom she married on June 12, 1982, of New Castle, Indiana; 2 daughters, Alicia Rose Wilkinson of New Castle, Indiana and Jeni May Wilkinson of New Castle, Indiana; 3 brothers, Jack Lowe (wife Doris) of Logansport, Indiana, Bill Lowe (wife Margaret) of Kokomo, Indiana, and George Lowe (wife Darcy) of Kansas; 3 sisters, Barbara Allen (husband David) of New Castle, Indiana, Sally Lowe (companion Chuck) of New Castle, Indiana, and Altie Thurston (husband David) of New Castle, Indiana; 2 sisters-in-law, Dona Finney (husband Tommy) of New Castle, Indiana, and Mary McCorkhill (husband Jeff) of New Castle, Indiana; 4 brothers-in-law, Philip Kissinger (wife Nancy) of Florida, George Wilkinson, Floyd Wilkinson (wife Linda) of New Castle, Indiana, and Terry Wilkinson of Bunker Hill; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ernie and Hazel Lowe, and her mother and father-in-law, Dona and Charles Wilkinson.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Macer-Hall Funeral home & Cremation Services. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012 at the funeral Home with Reverend Pat Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery in New Castle.
